35th Accounting Recruiters Reception

The Accounting Recruiters Reception (ARR) presents an opportunity for you to seek an internship, part-time, or full-time position from many companies in the Greater Houston area. We invite companies interested in recruiting students major in accounting & finance and professional organizations involved in students’ participation. This year ARR will be held on campus.

Date: October 10th, 2024

Time: 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Location: UHCL Campus Wellness and Recreation Center (Rec Center)

Student Register: Pre-registration is encouraged, but not required. 

AAR Event Volunteer Schedule

Set Up

• 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM: 2 volunteers needed to set up tables and spaces for recruiters.

• 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM: 2 additional volunteers needed for final setup.

Recruiter Assistance

• 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM: 3 volunteers needed to assist recruiters as needed.

Student Sign-In

• 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM: 3 volunteers needed for student sign-in.

• 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM: 3 additional volunteers needed for continued sign-in support.

Giveaway Table

• 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM: 2 volunteers needed to help students fill out giveaway tickets and guard the prizes.

• 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM: 2 more volunteers needed for the same duties.

Clean Up

• 8:00 PM - 9:00 PM: 2 volunteers needed for event clean-up.
